After a great time in Durango, Colorado for college I had to return to my roots in the Wood River Valley because this place is such a nice place, if I could only afford a house here. 

The Sun Valley area is a great place to visit.  The winters give us snow covered   landscapes and the summers open up some of the best mountain biking in the world.  Other things that bring people here are of course skiing, but fishing, golf, dinning, rafting, tennis, and hiking are great here as well.  Growing up here was amazing and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to come back and live there for a bit after school.  But we just could not survive the costs.

So we have moved westward.  We just went down the street and jumped on 20 and drove until it hit the next big mountains and settled at the base.  Bend is a nice place.   The trails are close and really fun, there are a ton more roads than I am used to.  And to but anything we need other than milk we can do it in town and not have to plan a trip to Boise.  I am really looking forward the winter not being so cold and so long.  But I know there will be winter here too.
